THE
JADE CLIFFS
For
some reason, some of my best work comes out of doodling around in Painter.
This picture is no exception, which just goes to show what a good program
it is. Because I only possess Painter Classic (at the moment), and that
package does not support layers, I again completed the work in PaintShop
Pro. The scene needs a little extra work, such as adding a flash of
lightning in the distance, but it's essentially complete.
Three
intrepid companions, possibly priests, brave treacherous weather and
an unsettled ocean to tackle an ancient and diabolical ill that lurks
within the Jade Cliffs. They find the mouth of a tunnel, guarded by
the hideous effigy of some ancient demon.
You
wouldn't get me going in there. ;p I'm currently working on a concept
for a short story to go with this scene.
